Duration: 4 years and 3 years for lateral entry
Eligibility criteria
10+2 with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 45% in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, and Computer Science, among other topics. To enter laterally: a. Passed a diploma exam in ANY area of engineering or technology with at least a 50% score. b: Awarded a B.Sc. degree with at least 50% of the required marks from a UGC-recognized institution and passed the 10+2 exam with mathematics as a subject. c: Provided that B.Sc. Stream students pass both the Second-year topics and the Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the First Year Engineering Programme.d: Provided that students from the B.Sc. stream will only be taken into consideration after students from the Diploma stream have filled the extra seats in this category. e: Passed the D. Voc. Stream in the same or a related field. f: In the aforementioned situations, appropriate bridge courses, if necessary, such as those in mathematics, may be held.
