Intellectual Property Rights Cell
IPR Cell
The IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) Cell at JBIT Group of Institutions is a dedicated initiative to foster a culture of innovation, legal awareness, and ethical research among students and faculty members. In today’s knowledge-driven economy, intellectual property is a vital asset, and our IPR Cell plays a pivotal role in guiding innovators through the process of protecting their creative and scientific work. We actively engage in educating our academic community about various forms of intellectual property—including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and designs—ensuring that every researcher is well-informed about their rights and the importance of securing them. The cell provides end-to-end support for patent filing, from idea evaluation and prior art search to drafting and submission, making the process accessible and efficient for both budding inventors and experienced researchers
Our aim is to inspire original thinking and safeguard innovations that can have a real- world impact. In addition to individual mentoring, the IPR Cell regularly organizes workshops, seminars, and awareness drives on Research Methodology (RM), IPR policies, and the ethical dimensions of research. These events are designed to instill a strong foundation in responsible innovation and to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration that leads to patentable outcomes. We also invite IPR professionals, patent attorneys, and industry experts to share insights and best practices, helping our community stay updated with global trends and legal frameworks. At JBIT, we believe that innovation is not complete without protection, and the IPR Cell stands as a beacon for those who wish to transform ideas into safeguarded assets. Through this initiative, we aim to not only protect intellectual contributions but also to create a robust innovation ecosystem that uplifts individuals and contributes to the nation’s growth through knowledge-led development.
