OBJECTIVES

The SC, ST, OBC, and Minority Committee at JB Institute of Technology was established to address concerns, promote the welfare, and ensure the equitable treatment of students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The Committee aims to create an inclusive and supportive environment for SC, ST, OBC, and Minority students, facilitating their academic success, personal development, and overall well-being.

The objectives of an SC, ST, OBC, AND MINORITY Committee typically revolve around addressing the unique challenges and promoting the welfare of students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Minority communities. Here are some common objectives:

    1. Advocacy:
      • Advocate for the rights, interests, and concerns of SC, ST, OBC, AND MINORITY students within the institution.
      • Ensure that SC, ST, OBC, AND MINORITY students have equal access to educational opportunities, resources, and support services.
    2. Equity and Inclusion:
      • Promote a campus culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
      • Work towards creating a supportive environment where SC, ST, OBC, AND MINORITY students feel included, respected, and valued.
    3. Support Services:
      • Provide guidance, mentorship, and counseling support to SC, ST, OBC, AND MINORITY students, addressing academic, personal, and social challenges they may face.
      • Facilitate access to financial aid, scholarships, and other resources to support the educational endeavors of SC, ST, OBC, AND MINORITY students.
    4. Awareness and Sensitization:
