COMPOSITION
The Discipline Committee of JB Institute of Technology, Dehradun, comprises individuals representing diverse segments of the institute’s community, each bringing unique perspectives and expertise to the committee’s functions. This diverse Composition ensures that disciplinary matters are approached comprehensively and fairly, considering stakeholders’ various interests and concerns. The Composition is as follows.
- Convener: The convener of the Discipline Committee plays a pivotal role in providing leadership and direction to the committee’s activities. They are typically a senior faculty member or administrator selected for their expertise, impartiality, and ability to ensure fair and efficient disciplinary processes.
- Faculty Representatives: Faculty members selected to serve the Discipline Committee bring a wealth of academic expertise and experience. As representatives from different academic departments, they offer valuable insights into disciplinary issues specific to their areas of expertise. Their understanding of educational standards, classroom dynamics, and student behavior enables the committee to make informed decisions grounded in educational principles.
- Administrative Representatives: Staff members from administrative departments, such as student affairs or human resources, play a critical role in providing administrative support and guidance to the Discipline Committee.
